Last night was the conclusion of our 6-week Running Course. The goal of the course was to be able to run faster, run longer, avoid injuries and reduce impact on the body. Coach Bryan focused on teaching efficient and proper running technique using The Pose Method along with an interval-based training program to prepare the runners to run at their absolute best.
The course started with a 1 mile time trial which was re-tested last night. The results were amazing! Out of the 8 that re-tested their mile last night, 7 improved on their time! The best part is they are now running more efficiently and less likely to get injured now that their using proper running technique. They also learned warm-up drills and skill progressions to help them continue to improve after the course and mobility techniques to keep their bodies healthy while training.
